Scripture Reading — Ephesians 3:1-21
“For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;” (Ephesians 3: 14-16)
My servant Paul prayed daily for the saints to be made strong in the spirit. This is where true strength is needed. What is the use of much physical strength if the spirit is weak?
Samson had physical strength but his spirit was weak, and that soon caused him to lose his physical strength.
You must ask Me daily to give you much spiritual strength. You have still many mountains to climb, many victories to win, many sermons to preach, many miles to travel, many nations to reach, all for Me, not for yourself. If you always remember “it is for Me,” this will help you. I love you, My child and I want to use you, but your spirit is not strong enough to carry the burden.
Remember that your spirit can be strengthened by My Spirit. It takes Spirit to strengthen spirit. The Holy Spirit puts strength into you as you abide close to Me.
I must dwell in your heart at all times, so that your tree of life will extend its roots down, deep in love.
It is in the love of Christ alone that you can be filled with all the fullness of God. Be strong, therefore, My little one, through My love. For love roots you and fills you to make you a strong and fruitful tree. I can do exceedingly abundantly more than you can ask or think.
